How Asana determines if a email is personal or work?

Evening all

I have played around with Asana and one of the features which I am trying to understand is…

How Asana determines if a email is personal or work ?

When you sign up, how does Asana accurately figure out if an email address is personal or not.
I would like to understand that… because in theory if I work for Google @google.com it is a work email address and I would like to be auto joined. However @google.com is also a free webmail system used for personal accounts.

Thoughts ?

Thanks

My thought: they have a whitelist of “email providers” like gmail and hotmail. The rest is considered as work email. People working at Google might have a google.com email address and not gmail.com maybe?
