Guests using organization email address

Can I invite someone with an organization email address as a guest on a project? This would be if we have contractors or subcontractors that will be with us for a limited time and for only one project but would still have an internal email address

Hey @Nicole_Culverhouse

If this relates to enabling folks who are members of your Organization to collaborate on a Project/Task in a hidden space(Team/Project/Task) then they can be invited to do so according to how much access you’re looking to grant them.

  • If you wish to add them to just a Task, add them as a Collaborator to that/those Task(s).

  • If you wish to add them as a Guest to just a Project, add them as a Project Member.

Additional information on Guests is available at the following link to the guide on the subject.

Hope this helps!

Hi Micheal!

Having read your response above, a question:

If we are set up as an organization and have a Premium account, would adding them as a Project Member as you describe still count towards our license seat count? Our issue is that we work with several subcontractors who do, for communication purposes, use our company domain emails, but only for a limited time and specific to a project.

The way we want to use Asana is to only allow our project managers to have full access, and our subcontractors only as guests able to access only their specific project. Just not sure if/how this can be done.

Thanks,
Steve
