I’m new to Asana, and am just now setting up all my Todo lists. I do have a couple dozen already done in Google Tasks, but they don’t allow me to export my tasks. Is there a way to migrate my existing tasks in Google into my new project in Asana?
Hi @Fred_Claus! Thank you for reaching out!
You could achieve this using Zapier : https://zapier.com/app-directory/asana/integrations/google-tasks
I hope this helps Fred! Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with!
Have a great week!
Well this might work but I’m not sure. My tasks are already there that I wanted to move over to Asana. The Zapier program only works when I add something new to Google Tasks.
I did find a solution for me after I created this post. There is a service called GQueues that allows me to sync with Google Tasks. I used them, then exported my GQ to a CSV file. Then used that to upload to Asana. It was a bit of a round about but it was easier than having to retype each of the tasks again. Only thing I had to do was reset the repeat on this recurring tasks.
What is the best between Asana and GQueues?
