Is it possible to build a dashboard that focuses on the goals function? I can configure it to see the status of goals at different levels and in various views, but I can’t add content-related goals. That’s unfortunate because it reduces clarity. Does anyone have a good solution for this problem?
Hi @Stefan_Novotny , welcome to the forum
Could you elaborate on this please?
…and explain why you need it? Some clarity would help us perhaps provide a solution.
Thank you for the quick response. We use Asana not only for our projects but also for our goals. For this, we use OKRs. With the Goals feature, we have a great way to manage and update OKRs in Asana. For an OKR overview in team meetings, I think it would be nice to build a dashboard where you can not only see the status of anonymous goals but also specifically show the goals (text) and their progress. This contributes to a better overview, requires fewer clicks to guide through the meeting, and allows for more efficient work. With this feature Asana would even more stand out from the competition. (my opinion)
Hi @Stefan_Novotny , you can now also add text widgets to your dashboards but it won’t automatically pull in text from your Goals.
Have you tried the new Strategy map feature as a alternative visual aid?
@Stefan_Novotny, Have you tried using Advanced search looking only for goals with other criteria as appropriate? You can then star the search results to name them and have them appear in your left sidebar for reuse. Maybe have a set of them to cover the different needs.
Thanks,
Larry
