"Freeze" or "Suspend" an account, rather than delete. Is it possible?

Dear all,

Is it possible to simply stop one of your users accessing their account temporarily (whilst an investigation takes place) rather than removing/deleting the account all together?

Thanks

Welcome to the Forum @Laurence_Lindsay and thank you for reaching out!

As it stands, there isn’t an option to suspend a user from Asana but if you are in Premium plan, the Administrator of the Organization has the option to deprovision this member. Once you do it, a private project containing their previously assigned tasks will be created for the Administrator. Then, the administrator can either assign back all this person’s tasks once the investigation ends and you want to add him back or you can just reassign the tasks to somebody else.

I would recommend you to have a look at the following guide article to learn more: https://asana.com/guide/help/premium/admins#gl-prem-depro

I hope this helps Laurence! But please let me know if you have any follow-up question!
