Flowsana Question - Hashtag automation does not work with Custom Fields

I have a custom field for example called Fruit. It is a single selection that has the options ‘Apple, Banana, Orange, Clementine’

I have a project called ‘To do’ and I’ve sent numerous test emails to its special email address and placed the hashtag in several formats, and it never applies properly and sets the custom field.

Examples
In the subject:
Order #Apple
Order #apple
Order #Fruit apple
Order #Fruit Apple

Examples In the body:
Order #Apple
Order #apple
Order #Fruit apple
Order #Fruit Apple

I always end up with a task that has an unassigned Custom Field for “Fruit”.

It seems to work for tags but I find tags mostly useless at the moment.

That’s correct; custom fields are not one of the properties that Flowsana’s Hashtag Automation sets. You can read about this automation and the properties that it supports here:
