Indeed.  
I’ve shared our workaround to this on @Jan-Rienk’s thread, [linked above](https://forum.asana.com/t/ability-to-assign-project-roles-when-converting-a-task-to-a-project-using-a-template/362824/22).  
Link to my post [HERE](https://forum.asana.com/t/ability-to-assign-project-roles-when-converting-a-task-to-a-project-using-a-template/362824/22), the workaround part is on “part 3” of my post, but the setup is explained in the preceding parts.  
It works well, but it’s still a workaround.
