Feature Request: Option to Hide Zero or Negative Values in Dashboard Charts

Hi everyone,

while building dashboards for third-party funded project portfolios in Asana, I identified another dashboard enhancement that could greatly improve reporting clarity.

Option to Hide Zero or Negative Values in Charts

A toggle to automatically exclude values ≤ 0 from dashboard charts would make visualizations much cleaner and easier to interpret.

Example Use Case

In portfolio tracking, completed, inactive, or irrelevant projects often generate zero-value entries that add visual noise without contributing meaningful insight.

Automatically hiding these values would help teams:

  • focus on active projects

  • reduce clutter in charts

  • improve executive-level reporting readability

  • create cleaner portfolio overviews

This feature would be especially valuable for organizations working with large and complex project portfolios where dashboards can quickly become overloaded with unnecessary data points. Enterprise software: endlessly generating charts so humans can invent filters to survive the charts.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I am also looking for this. It seems it was proposed in 2021. Hoping the product team can pay it attention.
