This is absolutely true. But until now there is no possibility to use this feature, if email notifications are switched off. Thus it’s impossible to obtain the specific email adress of this very task (or something comparable which does the actual “magic” in the background).
I would also like to request this feature, it’s definitely needed and I’m very concerned why it hasn’t been implemented yet.
I and my College really need this feature. The Outlook plug-in based workflow is multiple clicks / searches and steps. We will try using the return email from a notification received from a Task, but that is a clunky work around as well. Please consider adding this!
