Duplication of fields when importing twice

My sub contractor builds a gantt chart in excel. I have uploaded this into Asana and created tasks and subtasks and a Baseline.

I want to upload the updated excel Gantt chart, but it just creates duplication of the tasks and subtasks. Is there a way for the second upload to just update the dates, so the original baseline is maintained and there is no duplication of fields?

I am also storing information against each task, so I want to retain this information and only update the dates as the project is moving.

Hi @Linton_Hartfield, welcome to the Asana Community Forum! As it stands, it’s currently not possible to import specific data to existing tasks via CSV. We have a thread on this topic in our #product-feedback category, you can upvote here: Import to update existing tasks. Hopefully this is something we can implement in the future!
