Define same custom field(s) for multiple projects at once

We are setting up Asana and will have multiple projects. We want to define a couple of custom fields across all projects. How?

Or, can we copy a custom field (or multiple ones) from one project to another?

Hi @Kjell_Rilbe. When you create a custom field for one project, it will be accessible to add to other projects. On your second project, simply choose “Manage Custom Fields” from the drop-down caret next to the name of the project. When the box open for your custom fields, type in the name of the custom field you have already created and you will be able to add it to the new project.

This does need to be done project-by-project. There isn’t a way to assign a custom field to multiple projects at one time.

I think users are largely aware of that, but it would be nice to be able to select several projects and just add the same fields to them.

I have 10+ legacy projects that need the same three fields and I’m debating just enduring a few annoying clicks or automating it in Selenium.
