My calendars and timelines are hard to see because they are black and white, but all the calendars and timelines I see in help guides and image searches have solid colored bars and are really easy to see. What am I doing wrong??

in my screenshot and in the Asana guide more options are in the drop-down because we have custom fields added
In your project no custom fields are currently being used, hence why you only have the options on your screenshot.
