Custom fields of type 'Text' is not taking 'spaces'

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing: We can no longer add sentences to custom fields of type “text”. The field does not recognize ‘spaces’.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create custom field of type “text”
  2. Attempt to add “This is a sentence”.
  3. Result: “Thisisasentence”

Browser version:
Version 113.0.5672.127 (Official Build) (64-bit)

What version of Asana are you using (Basic/Premium/Business/Enterprise)?

This is impacting our whole team too, only place it seems to work properly is the Desktop app for Mac.

Our team has noticed this is the case with line breaks (return) as well, this is really impacting our workflow.

My Coworker and I are having the same issues. No spaces or line breaks. I’m using the web version and my coworker the desktop version. He was unaffected until he updated the desktop app.

Another one here with the same issue. A colleague was having problems with the space bar. I was not, now I am. Hoping this is a bug that can be fixed soo,

my org also is unable to put spaces in text fields. Hopefully this is a bug and not intended. Would love input from Asana here.

Glad I’m not alone. Using Google Chrome and the Windows App, on two different computers, the bug is present in all four situations.

@Griffin_Spurr You can type in a text doc then copy and paste into the Asana fields, not ideal but the only current solution

As a workaround, I put the update in Word and pasted it in.

Our company also cannot use the space bar when utilizing text cells.
By posting here I hope this is reporting the bug to Asana to fix!
