Creating sections: "Out For Approval", while retaining date sorting funct?

Hi there. Is there a way to retain date sorting but within each section, or excluding sections from the sort funct?

I want to have an “out for approval” section, instead of, say, reassigning the task back to the owner/creator, but if i sort tasks by date, manual rearrangement of tasks is not possible.

Thouhts on this? Have a feeling assigning back will be the easiest way for me, but those people may not like it :slight_smile:

Hi @Alland_Byallo - For this desired workflow, I recommend that you use custom fields! You could create custom fields within each section, and then sort the project by custom field. Would that provide the solution you’re looking for?
