Creating a task from an iOS voice mail

Hello amazing Asana community!

Looking for a quick way to save a voice mail and remind myself to respond. I would like to send the voice mail (from iPhone iOS) to asana as a task.

Any ideas on how to do this quickly?

Thanks!
Jeanette

Hey @Jeanette_McCulloch; Michael from the Asana support team here!

I recommend taking advantage of our collaboration with Siri!

  1. Download the latest version of Asana for iOS (it must be iOS version 11.0.0 or higher.).
  2. Press and hold the Home button.
  3. Say, “Hey Siri.”
  4. Say a task name—like, “create a task in Asana to post photos of the conference”.
  5. Make sure to say, “in Asana” or “using Asana” somewhere in your task name.
  6. Check My Tasks in Asana to see it.

Hope this helps!

Siri is a great time saver for creating Asana tasks on mobile.

To add on to @Michael_A’s suggestion, you can also save voicemails to the Files on your phone (with the share button from the Voicemail), and then attach the audio file to the task you created in the mobile app. Adding attachments on mobile is super easy and you can see more here.
