"Created on" Date when creating a template

Hello. I would like to know how to please if there is a way to add a “created on” date automatically by adding a rule or workflow/automation? So when I use the template for a project, the “created on” date will automatically populate. Is this possible?

It’s not clear; are you interested the project’s created on date, or a task’s created on date?

The project’s created on date is always captured in the Overview tab, on the right side column.

For a task’s created on date, in any project’s List view use Options menu to toggle on the Created on date column, or open any task’s task detail pane, click Activity at the bottom (if not already the selected tab there), and look at the first line for the Created on date of the task.

I appreciate the response @lpb. For the templates that we are using, we would like to include “created on date” for each of the tasks automatically. I know we can pull that info when the project is built, but that’s an extra step. My team prefers all the fields commonly used added to the project already. We want to see the due date and created on date side by side, list view. I don’t see an option to add this field to any template. I don’t see an option to create a rule on this as well. I hope this makes sense.
