As a user, I want to copy multiple tasks and selected task details (subtasks), over to another project or section, so I don’t have to re-type all of the steps (subtasks) within a task each time I want to use them in various projects (and they will be used in various projects).
Specifically I’m referring to subtasks as task details. I want to copy tasks and their subtasks around. I was surprised when this didn’t currently work as thought.
One possible workaround is to duplicate the project and then remove what you you don’t need. Or make the project a template and create a new project based on it. Or multi home those tasks into a project that you then duplicate.
Happy Monday @Kenz and thank you for reaching out!
As @Bastien_Siebman suggested, there are different workarounds to achieve this.
You could associate the task to different projects. Please note that the task will exist simultaneously in all of those projects. This will not duplicate the task - if you complete the task in one project, it will be completed in all projects it is associated with.
Another option could be to duplicate the task and its subtasks and then nest it to a different project.
