Copy rules to "my tasks" + schedule rule changes

Hi folks,

First post here but wanted to see what people thought of these ideas related to rules.

  1. Copy rules to “my tasks”
    • My organization works a lot from “My tasks” and it would be nice if we can copy rules from projects to my tasks. As an organization that has recent adopted Asana (year 2 into implementation) our users are still struggling with understanding rules, how they work, etc. The users, this is most helpful for are our frontline staff as they are not apart of the designing of workflows, the team management of Asana, etc.
  2. Scheduling rule changes
  • My son is being born in May so I will be stepping away from my organization for 4 months. In my place I have someone taking over for me and it would be really nice if there was a way to schedule rule changes (e.g schedule when an assignee is changed on rule(s) from me to my Interim) This would help ensure that the transfer of responsibilities happens when it needs to.
  • I’m also thinking of offboarding and onboarding employees, if we can schedule rule changes it would allow us to transfer those responsibilities when they need to happen, rather than having to remember to change rules manually. This often happens with us where a rule is “broken” because someone left our organization, or tasks are being improperly routed to the wrong person as we forgot to change the assignee on a rule.
  1. Final suggestion - Bulk change rules.
  • Similar to suggestion #2 I work on a lot of projects and it’s time-consuming to change rules that have checks or “do this” related to me, Angel . If there was a way to bulk search and select rules according to conditons (e.g Assignee is Angel) and bulk make changes that would be really nice.
  • I understand the security considerations (e.g we don’t want everyone to be able to bulk make changes) so I might make this only available to certain permissions in a project, or certain levels in an organization’s team structure.

Better yet - allow BUNDLES in My Tasks! If I want all team members to work the same way, I have to walk them each through how to set up their My Tasks area - where I COULD be able to manage all with a Bundle and push changes out in bulk.
