As it stands, this format is shown in comments added in the last 30 days and it is currently not possible to set it differently. For older comments the format is indeed an absolute date (day and month). Iām sorry to hear you it is not convenient for your Team.
There is an existing thread regarding this topic: Show date and Time in Comments rather than "X days ago". I would suggest you to leave your comment and vote.
