+1 We really need this feature! Love the unicorn animations, for real. But well-formatted code snippets and markdown chunks would make Asana stickier.

Really feels disheartening to see how old this thread is. Our small dev team just decided to try Asana over Jira. We will be sharing code snippets all the time, so please consider this an important issue.

Stunning that this feature isnāt here. Add my voice to the thousands: this is a critical need.
When I paste code into a task box, it is essential that it not just be monospaced, but that it not be modified in any way. If there is a good workaround to let me do this please share.
To be clear: we donāt need markdown support. we do need some way to paste text that will be monospaced and unmodified.

Is there really no way of formatting a proper code block in asana in 2021? Shocked if so and surprised a dev team would be able to manage their projects without it.
