I’m on the Advanced plan ($24.99/user/month). A few days ago I reached out to sales asking about Client Management. While that inquiry was open, I noticed a self-service option appeared in my account to start a Client Management trial myself, so I did. I’m not sure if that option showing up was tied to the sales inquiry or just coincidental timing. Either way, I’ve now been through the billing screens and the docs, and I genuinely can’t tell what I’d be paying if I keep it.
Two things I can’t get a straight answer on:
- Is “Agentic Work Management” just the name for the core Advanced plan I’m already paying for, or is it a separate thing? The billing page shows a “stay on Agentic Work Management Advanced” link, which reads like it’s my current plan.
- Is Client Management Advanced a separate, additional charge stacked on top of my existing Advanced plan (so ~$50/user/month total), or does it replace/include it? This is where it gets contradictory:
- The Client Management product page FAQ says: “You’ll maintain access to all your existing work and features. Nothing is lost. Asana Client Management capabilities and features will be additive.” That sounds like it stacks on top.
- But your own Help Center article (“Asana subscriptions and pricing”) says: “From Asana’s available base plans, choose either Agentic Work Management or Asana Client Management.” That sounds like they’re alternatives, not both at once.
Those two are saying different things. Can someone from Asana (or anyone who’s actually done this) confirm: if I add Client Management Advanced to my existing Agentic Work Management Advanced, am I billed for both ($49.98/user/month) or does one replace the other? Also curious whether the self-service trial toggle appearing while a sales inquiry is open is expected or just how the rollout works right now.
Would appreciate a straight answer, or a link to a billing doc that actually settles it, because right now the in-product screens and the help docs don’t agree with each other.
Both features are looking great - I am just very confused on pricing.
Thanks!
