i am glad it is not just me. is there some other post i should be watching for a resolution to this issue?
The Chrome Extension does not work for me. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared all cookies, etc. i just get the “cannot connect to asana. be sure that you are logged in and connected.”

Can you please confirm if you are in the latest version of Chrome (81.0.4044.138)? If not, would you mind updating your browser to this latest version and see if this issue gets resolved?
Can you also try and clear cookies and cache associated with app.asana.com and test the chrome extension again?

Thank you for trying to troubleshoot this issue! If you haven’t yet I would also recommend you to try and disable any browser extensions you have turned on to confirm they are not causing any conflict with this extension. To do so, simply follow the steps outlined in this article.
If this doesn’t help I would also recommend you to contact your IT department to verify if there is any setting that could be causing this extension to be blocked for usage within your company.
