Hi @Alexandre_Marier and welcome to the forum,

The Asana API doesn’t have any specific functionality related to barcode scanning. But if you 're a developer or have development resources available to you, you could certainly write an app that scans a barcode and as a result of that scan, then uses the Asana API to complete a task (or perform other updates on it).

Integrating Asana with barcode scanning is a fantastic way to connect digital task management with real-world actions. Imagine scenarios like scanning a shipped product to automatically complete a “Prepare Shipment” task, or a quality inspector scanning a finished item to mark a “Quality Check” task as done. This bridges the gap between digital and physical, streamlining processes, reducing errors, and ensuring everyone stays on top of their tasks.

As @Phil_Seeman suggested, the most efficient way to achieve this would be to engage a developer to leverage the Asana API. They can create a custom integration that perfectly aligns with your specific workflow and barcode scanning hardware.
