Changing the Submitter/Requester on a Task that comes by Intake Form

:light_bulb: Hello everyone, need to know if this is even possible.

I am currently using Asana as an internal ticket system for our department. We use a form that employees can fill in to create their request. This means that the requester email is their email.

The problem is that after that is done I don’t see a way to change who the submitter is. Asana allows me to notify the requester through the task by checking a checkbox when adding a comment.

What if I want to notify someone else? Can I email someone that is not the submitter? Would I create a custom field to add more emails that I want to notify and after that create a rule to auto notify them? Is that even possible?

You indeed can’t change the submitter. But thanks to rules, you can add other people as collaborators, send emails using Gmail or Outlook rules…
