I’m using the API to update the user Assignment of Asana tasks based on an external list. Our projects have up to 1,000 tasks that will get assigned this way.
This currently triggers a new email to the assignee for each task assigned to the person. As far as I can tell, the email preference setting is in each person’s profile settings and not part of the Project Members Notification settings. I’ve tried disabling the Member Notification Settings but the emails still go.
Is there a way I can turn off this project’s email notifications while this assignee process is running?
