Can AI Studio do arithmetic in custom fields with existing data?

Hi all,

I’m looking to leverage AI Studio to build in SLAs and potentially an ‘agent’ to help triage our IT tickets. One of the metrics I want to track is Time to Close, but we have status’ like Waiting for User or Waiting for Vendor that I don’t want to hurt the metric. I am planning on adding a Time Paused custom field based on those status’, but I’m wondering if AI Studio is able to do math and keep adding to the custom field (minutes) in case a ticket goes to the waiting status’ multiple times?

AI Studio can definitely do arithmetic on existing fields, assuming the Action to edit that field exists. If you are on Enterprise (which you are I believe) you should look at Script Actions instead! I have found some AI models fail at producing consistent results so I would fall back on good ol’ formulas and rules for 100% consistency, or as @Bastien_Siebman mentioned, Custom scripts available on Enterprise tiers.
