Board modification across all projects

  1. What you’re trying to do:
i have multiple projects, i want to modify all the projects kanban board into a single standardized one across all projects

  2. What you’ve tried so far:
i tried to use claude, but the connector is limited to
only define sections when creating a brand-new project, not add one to a project that already exists), Renaming an existing section, Deleting a section, Moving a task from one section to another within the same project

i did not try using Asanas native AI, is there a fast easy way to do that without manually modifying every singe project board?

Hi @Daniel_Benyaminov, welcome to the community! :tada:

Yes! If you have access to the Bundles feature, that would be the fastest way to do this.

Bundles let you package sections, rules, fields, and task templates and apply them across many projects at once. When you update the bundle, the changes automatically apply to all projects using it.

How to do it:

  1. Open one of your projects.
  2. Click Customize.
  3. Select Bundles.
  4. Create a bundle and include the sections you want for your standardized Kanban board.
  5. Choose the projects you want to apply it to and publish.

After that, you can update the bundle anytime and the changes will sync to all projects using it.

This is the built-in way to standardize workflows across many existing projects without editing each one manually.

@Daniel_Benyaminov, and all,

The Bundles feature requires an Asana Enterprise plan.

Thanks,

Larry
