My company purchasing card, which was on file for our organization’s Asana account, recently had fraudulent activity on it. I was issued a new card and number, but forgot to update in Asana.
When Asana went to bill my card this morning, it didn’t work. All of a sudden, every Asana user in the company got an orange banner across the top of their screen telling them about the billing issue. Immediately, my instant messages started blowing up with screenshots.
While definitely effective in getting me to immediately update the billing info, I wondered if instead of having a global alert go off, it could instead come to the billing owner only. Certainly would would be a little more discreet and not cause such a panic among employees.
