Automated Time/Budget Estimation

I’d love to have a way to build an “automated” budget based on a schedule that is built in Asana.

For example, I block out a resource for 2 weeks.

  • Assuming 100% allocation, it would auto populate an 80 hour estimate.
    -Make % allocation adjustable

Right now, as I schedule something out, I have to manually count allocated days, put into a spreadsheet, etc. to make a budget.

This would obviously work well with native time tracking as well.

You can do budgeting via Harvest and Everhour.

You can have a custom field for Hours, then add hours to each task and Asana will add them up within the section.

Hours will also roll up into the Portfolio’s Workload
