We use ‘board’ view to assign tasks to our team. Each team member has their own column with tasks in. The tasks all have deadlines assigned, but we need the team members to approach them in a specific order, which isn’t necessarily the date order. How can we assign and fix the task order in specific columns in board view, independent of each deadline date on the task?
You can add priority to your tasks using Custom Fields. If you want to set priority as High, Medium or Low, you can use a drop-down field or if you prefer to give them a specific number you can use a Number field.
The fields in your tasks will be visible in Board view as well and you will be able to sort your columns by your specific field.
