When utilizing the Asana mobile app on iPhone’s running iOS 26+, it will freeze inside of the camera when attempting to use it to take a picture. It will not allow you to press the ‘Retake’ or ‘Use Picture’ options. The picture will show as attached only if you force close the app and reopen the specific project. Reinstalling the app did not work. This is on the newest version of Asana available (26.26.0), and it appears that Asana status is fully operational. It does not freeze when attaching photos/videos, only when attempting to use the camera from inside Asana to take a photo. This is affecting productivity for our users. ---

I haven’t (yet) heard other reports of this, so I think your best bet is: [Try these troubleshooting steps (most related more to the web app)](https://help.asana.com/s/article/troubleshooting-browser-and-connectivity-issues), then please create a support ticket: see [How to contact our Support Team](https://go.asana.com/supportteam). This has been a giant problem for me and all the employees in my company. The only work around is to take the pictures with the camera app then add them manually from photos. However this takes away from the speed and efficiency from the app and also is inconsistent and slow loading the pictures in manually. Please fix. ---

Having a bug with the Asana app since last week. When taking a picture with the built-in camera function, it goes to the preview screen but then freezes. Tapping “retake” or " attach" does nothing. I have to fully close out the app to be able to use it again. I’ve had it happen on iPhone 16 Pro and 15 Pro. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app, which didn’t fix the issue. It works as intended on my Android phone. My coworker is also experiencing the same issue with his iPhone as well. ---

I’m experiencing the same issue on iOS 26+. The Asana app freezes after taking a photo, and the “Retake” and “Use Picture” buttons become completely unresponsive. Force closing and reopening the app makes the photo appear attached, but this is definitely frustrating and disrupts the workflow. Hopefully, Asana can investigate and release a fix soon. ---

Hi everyone, apologies for the inconvenience. This was a bug affecting the camera/photo insert flow in My Tasks on iOS, and **the fix was included in app version 26.28**. Once 26.28 is available on your device, please update the Asana app and try again. If it still happens after updating, contact Support and include your device model, iOS version, and app version.
