Asana keeps crashing when pasting information in the task description

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:
Editing the same portion of a subtask I’ve been working in all day seems to cause the “asana needs to be reloaded” error

Steps to reproduce:
In my case, it’s cutting/pasting certain information about an account. Not comfortable posting specifics in a forum. You can contact me if you need specific info that the following unique phrase doesn’t help you with.

Edge (latest)

This type of error are usually related to the amount of characters you have in the task description, usually if it’s close to the limit of 65k characters. If there is too much information in the subtask description or you are attempting to copy and paste a very large amount of characters into the description, for this reason you’re receiving this error.

As a workaround, you can create another task or subtask to add additional content or you can add more details in a comment.

If your subtask description doesn’t have close to 65k characters, I recommend you to contact our support team and please share the subtask URL and the URL of this thread so they can investigate this further.

Oh that makes total sense. I’m curious as to why you wouldn’t just mention the character limit in the error? Would’ve saved a lot of headache and time hunting down a forum to post in.
