Asana "Dark Mode" Color Option

I would really like dark theme! I don’t really care about theming as ability to have different, just one light and one dark. Most of the tools these days provide that.
As for the theme, I am using one from userstyles: https://userstyles.org/styles/125466/asana-dark-cobalt
The colors are fine, but it keeps breaking because of asana changes.

I try to keep the userstyles theme up to date but it’s hard to catch changes before they affect end users.

I’ve just started using Asana and the first thing I looked for was a darker theme. I’m red/green colour blind and I’ve got that mode activated, but while I can see a little difference in appearance, the contrast between the white text and colours available is veeeeery low.

I’d love to see a 2px gap between the projects in the left menu as the colours blur together a bit.

Resurrecting an old post here. I’d like to add my vote to the need for a darker theme. 3rd party simply isn’t acceptable. The architecture is there, but I don’t want an image, just give me a darker grey background option instead of only white.

I find really important to have this option. It is essential to be able to work without hurting your eyes.

With Apple’s WWDC release of Dark mode through all of MacOS maybe it will inspire the Asana team ; )

Looks like Stylish has been removed from the Chrome store.

Try: https://github.com/openstyles/stylus

I haven’t found a dark theme for Asana on there though. I imagine with product updates, this would become hard to manage. Would love to see dark mode natively supported!

Hey! +1 for this feature. Dark themes are far superior for production environment. Eyes fatigue are reduced by the end of the day. Photoshop is dark. Premiere, After Effects, Sketch, and soon the whole Mac environment will be dark with the Mojave MacOS. Looking forward to see it on Asana too!

Just wondering if there is a dark theme for sensitive eyes in the works. I see that there’s a color-blind friendly option. What about a regular eye-friendly version where most backgrounds are black or grey rather than white. We spend most of our time looking at screens- I’d rather not ruin my eyesight. Thanks!

Another +1 to requesting this feature - my team just switched here from using another tool, and within the first… 3 minutes of using Asana, my user experience could be summed up as “AAAAAAAAAHH MY FACE HAS MELTED

Well, now that Apple has added a dark mode I bet we’ll be seeing more webapps creating their dark themes too.

+1 from me!
