Android push notifications don't reflect subsequent date changes

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:
On Android, push notifications seem to ignore subsequent date/time changes; the push notification appears at the original due date/time, not the updated due date/time

Steps to reproduce:

  • On a Monday morning, assign a task to yourself due Tuesday 9a
  • Later on Monday afternoon, change the due date/time to Wednesday 9a
  • On Tuesday 9a you will receive an incorrect notification that doesn’t correspond to the current due date/time on the task

Browser version:
Android 13, last updated 9/5/22

I haven’t been able to reproduce this on my end and it doesn’t look like we’ve received any other reports. Could you please clear your cache on the app and test this again and let me know if the issue persists?

At 9p or so I cleared the cache, then added in My Tasks a task due 10:15p.
At a little after 10p I deleted that task.
At around 10:15p a notification for the already-deleted task was pushed.

So the problem remains for me.
