Android app is not allowing me to change assignee or assign a new task to anyone but myself

I’ve been on asana for many years now. Something in the app isn’t working properly for the last couple of weeks. I’m no longer able to change the assignee on an existing task or assign a new task to anyone but myself. I’m the only one that shows up. This is not happening on my PC. I checked for an update but I was already up to date with the app. I really need to get this fixed because I’m currently unable to work away from my PC unless I carry around my laptop.

I recommend you clear your Asana app cache, restart the app, and retry.

If that fails uninstall and reinstall the app.
