Currently, URLs pasted into form questions are stored as plain text. While those same URLs become clickable buttons in task descriptions, they appear only as raw links in List view, making them harder to scan and recognize at a glance.
Proposed improvement:
Allow form questions to map to Reference Fields so that when a task or project URL is entered, it automatically converts into a proper reference. This reference would display consistently as a clickable button or linked object across all views, including List view.

Use case:
For cross-department requests to super users, requesters often already have an existing task or project they have started and need help with. Automatically converting submitted URLs into Reference Fields would let reviewers immediately identify and open the correct work, speeding up triage and reducing back-and-forth.
I have tried to get AI studio to update a reference field based on the input from a custom text field, but I have yet to discover a prompt that allows it to work.
