The starting point: AI Teammates already create a lot of formats. Google Docs and Sheets, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, plus .html, .csv, .md and .txt files attached right on the task. That’s great, but…
My issue: PDF has been missing from day one. A Teammate can read a PDF, but can’t create one. And PDF are one of the most common and expected format.
What already exist: ask for an .html file, open it, print it as PDF, attach it back. It works, but it’s a lot of manual steps. A shame for something the Teammate could do in one go.
What I’d like:
- Let AI Teammates create .pdf files, the same way they create .html today.
