Hello party goblins ! ![]()
As one of mannnny digging their hands into AI Teammates with the recent release of free pull requests, I wanted to ask if anybody else experienced having issues with directing their Teammate to Google Drive/Asana Pages for their skill reference?
Setup: AI Teammate “Project Health Auditor” with a custom skill “Project Hygiene Audit.” Skill conventions doc attached first as a Google Drive link (public, “anyone with the link”), then as an Asana Page. Google Drive app connected at both the teammate level and skill level with “always allow” read access.
Observation across 9 audits: The agent consistently activates the skill correctly (confirmed in agent logic: “Activated skill: Project Hygiene Audit”) but the skill attachment read fails silently in every run. Evidence: the agent’s own Not Assessed section states “rubric was unavailable” or “no required field policy was available” in all 9 runs. The agent falls back to general PM knowledge for scoring thresholds and output format.
Key question for the forum:
- Is there a known issue with AI Teammate skill attachment reads for Google Drive links? The agent attempts the read (asset ID visible in logic) but the read fails.
- Does the same limitation apply to Asana Pages attached to skills? Audit #9 used an Asana Page — the skill activated correctly but the page content was also not read.
- Is there a configuration step beyond connecting the Google Drive app and setting file permissions to “anyone with the link” that enables skill attachment reads?
What IS working reliably: Behavior tab instructions (short text in the Instructions field) are read and followed consistently across all 9 audits. Skill trigger phrase routing works correctly. Task data retrieval, dependency identification, and milestone flagging are accurate.
Curious to hear from the forum!
Second observation: I believe I’ve seen demos of the Teammate having transparent logic. I’m able to open a new pop up to see the live logic when the Teammate is working in progress but when the action is complete, there is no visible way to find the logic sequence through the Task “All activities” tab in the comments. This is how I’d troubleshoot AI Studio rules but it doesn’t seem to be available for Teammates. Has anyone else found this? Screenshots below
