Advanced Search & Milestones - How to order the milestones to be shown correctly.

Hi, I use a template with 10 milestones in an ordered list.

I have these milestones included on all projects and I have an advanced search where I want to monitor all the milestones (incomplete/complete) per project.

The problem is that the order of the milestones per project varies.

Is there a way for me to have the listings shown in an ordered list per project like on the template?
the results I get are randomized like:

and I try to figure out a way to have the results listed properly.

thank you in advance.

Hi @ndafnomilis and thank you for reaching out!

After creating your Advanced Search Report, you should be able to sort it by:

  • Assignee
  • Project
  • Due date
  • Last modified
  • Creation time
  • Completion time
  • Likes

This might be useful to achieve what you are looking for. I hope this helps Nicolas! :crossed_fingers:

Hi Natalia, thank you for replying to my question.

I know that I can sort it per project but the problem is this:

the results I have look like these:

Project 1
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.

Project 2
6.
2.
1.
3.
5.
4.
7.

Project 3
6.
1.
2.
3.
4.
7.
5.

The order of the milestones in the projects are not universal (ordered)
do you know how can I fix this?

Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately not @ndafnomilis. As it stands, the report generated does not automatically display the same order of Milestones than your Project. I completely understand your point here so I’ve gone ahead and escalated your feedback to our Product Team.

Sincere apologies for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience! I hope you have a nice week!
