Adding my vote here too. Just spent a while looking for this in the UI, but no luck 
I know it’s a non-trivial addition because of the layout ramifications, but it really does seem like a standard for anything that looks like a spreadsheet.

Would love an Asana moderator to share an update on if text wrapping is in the pipeline. Sort of shocking that it still doesn’t exist after 8 years of requesting.

We would very much like to see this requirement implemented.
Some of our workflows have lots of custom fields that should easily fit on a single screen. However, due to the inability to wrap text, I have to stretch out the fields so that the user understands the information that is being presented. As a result, our users find themselves scrolling across constantly to view the information they want to see

It’s at the very top left of this thread. You can click on “Nov 2017” 
at the top of the timeline on the righthand side, to jump there faster than scrolling. (Or on the title of the thread it seems!)
bumping this, I don’t see how adding an option to have text wrap would break anything as it wouldn’t be the default…

That’s true, but there are other consequences to adding options. If interested, you could look at 🦄 If Wishes Were Unicorns: Why Asana Might Not Have Implemented that Feature Request (and other thoughts about Asana feature development and product strategy) at the “Simply add an option…" section.
