Add multiple tasks to a Parent task

I often use tasks as projects. Often when clearing my New tasks I want to add multiple items to a parent task. Currently as far as I can see the only way to do this, is if all the tasks concerned (new tasks and parent task) are in the same list (ie project/tag). This is often not practical.

It would be immensely useful if multiple tasks could be selected and then added to a parent task. Similar to how we add multiple tasks to a project.

I think this is an excellent suggestion! A drag-and-drop function would be helpful, as well as linking in other ways.

I just had a look at Trello yesterday. That program has a function to add e.g. a checklist to any task, from any already created checklist. It is a feature that would save much time and create uniformity in recurring tasks, and is in line with the OP.
