I would be super interested in making some adjustments to the “My Tasks” widget within the homepage.
First, it would be extremely useful if I could filter the tasks that appear within that widget by due date so I can focus on the most immediate tasks due that day, week, or month, depending on the view that best suits my needs at that time.
Second, I would like if I had more customization options for the “My Tasks” widget as far as sizing goes. As is stands, my only options are “full size” and “half size,” but I would like to make my “full size” longer/taller so I can see my full list of tasks without having to scroll within the widget. It would also be nice to be able to adjust the sizing of the width of the widget if I wanted to put three widgets across instead of the currently allowed two.
Agree that the My Tasks widget needs better functionality like you can find on the My Tasks view. As it is now, the My Task widget is useless, and don’t understand the use of this Widget as it is.
We do NOT use the My Task widget due to these issues, and recommend our users only use their My Task view where they can filter, sort and apply custom fields for enhanced viewing purposes.
Bi @Julie_Esparza , great feedback but it appears you have two requests bundled into one. Forum policy recommends to keep one thread per request so it is clear what people are voting on and for each request to get tagged as launched, if and when it does.
Could you please create a separate post for the resizing if the Home page widgets in the same English Forum > Product Feedback category? I’ve gone ahead and edited this thread’s title for better clarity and searchability.
