Shocked this is not a feature yet! It makes it very challenging to highlight areas of importance etc. Can anyone from Asana provide an update on this?

I’m going to add my voice and vote to the multitude of feedback that has been piling up on this since Oct 2018.
My use case, if it helps illustrate even more why this might be of interest, is I’m defining templates for my boards and they all have placeholder text that I would like to make light grey.
P.S.: It’s a bit disheartening 
to see that something that seems to be so low-hanging fruit and is so eagerly awaited doesn’t get attention.

I’m going to add my 2 cents to the thread too. After 6 years of asking for a simple feature, its crazy there hasn’t even been a reply from anyone from Asana that is in charge of making changes.
I completely agree with the comment before regarding low hanging fruit and being disheartened.

I found that many users have submitted similar feedback. Please consider adding this feature.
Hightlighting or changing the colour of the text helps multiple people leave their comments directly in the same text from one task while the task is assigned to multiple persons. A comment is not so straightforward.

Welcome to the forum, @Hynhyn! I’ve moved your post (and vote) to the existing feedback thread on this topic. Based on the last message in the thread, it sounds like this is not on the immediate roadmap, but hopefully Asana will add it in the future.

It’s wild to me that such a simple feature is not available after years of user requests. Color coding is a basic organizational function which is the whole purpose of this software. Certainly not a complicated ask and highly requested. Please consider moving this request up in your roadmap. Thanks!
Wow, since 2018 and still don’t include this simple feature… amazing how they’ve been gash-lighting this request for almost 7 years… Unbelievable that something that was implemented first time in the 70s with the Apple II, here it takes almost 7 years and no intention to add it in the near future…
How is this still not a thing?! I just want to be able to highlight text in the notes area, dang.
Can @Community_Manager provide an update on this- whether it’s in the queue of development? It would help immensely.
In addition, highlighting, and colour text in the description.
