It’s the end of 2022 and still no update on this? PLEASE ADD COLOURS (text colour and te t colour background) to task descriptions!!!

Asana team please please add colour text options, I really like using Asana but as you can tell from ALL the comments from back in October 2018 this would be a really useful feature. It is rather frustrating that it is 2023 and nothing has been done

2023 NEEDS COLOR TEXT OPTION IN TASK DESCRIPTIONS!!!
Seriously, this seems like such a simple fix. You have a rich text editor. It is lacking in two VERY important functions
1 - TEXT colors. It is extremely difficult to implement any sort of standards within body text. We use all sorts of efforts from lines to asterisks to tabbing text to strikeout text etc to TRY to differentiate within task descriptions. It is all very confusing because there is no ONE way. It would be so much more organized if we could use color with text because as a company we could standardize what certain colors are used for within task descriptions and like MAGIC everything becomes very well organized, task descriptions are much easier to read and decipher team to team, etc. PLEASE DO THIS!!! IT’S BEEN OVER 4 YEARS!!!
2 - Text indent. You have paragraph, bulleted and numbered lists but this one is missing. This would be helpful in aligning indented text rather than having to count out tabs. Less important, but still needed to help with formatting efficiency.

I agree having access to a limited number of colors would be nice (but not too many!) Currently we bold / caps / emojis to create emphasis, but sometimes you want to write a warning in red or a friendly note in blue to separate it from a lot of text.

Yes, I have a colleague that is very important on our team and she is severely dyslexic, what can really help with asana is coloured text to help with organising her priorities

Could we please be provided with an update as to when we can expect to the option of selecting different colours for text (tasks etc) in Asana? Could you publish your roadmap of changes with the expected delivery dates please?

Really simple idea, something I want to do often in my notes in tasks that I continually add more detail to or change, or where there are ‘in description’ reminders - would love to simply be able to highlight text in the description field.

I would really love to have rich text options. At a minimum some basic colours. So frustrating that this can’t be done.

Still hoping this will be done!! Desperately need the ability to add colours and or highlighter to text in both comments and task descriptions. Especially for big projects!

Same question and issue as everyone. We do need colour to be used in text in Asana. Would be very helpful indeed! Any plans from Asana on this subject?
