When the Asana application is installed on my Android phone I get ‘Reminder’ notifications to respond to a comment, etc. These notifications are very annoying as they are received at random times and even on weekends.
Please enable finer grain notification settings to turn off these types of alerts.

+100.. So many invasive unwanted reminders, summaries, notifications that can’t be fine grain turned off. Please stop adding interruptions if you are not also including a way for us to turn them off!! All you do is create less productivity, counter to what a productivity app should be doing!
Repeat notifications re comments is a terrible feature, especially without the ability to turn them off. First of all, notification overload is one of the biggest obstacles to Asana adoption. New users in particular already feel overwhelmed. But as the project manager for numerous project, I want to be notified when someone comments, but I don’t need or want any more notifications, especially after I have already view the comment.

I’m not sure what the idea was, but I eventually took it as Asana just wants me to interact back because until you reply back especially after being [at]mentioned it’ll keep notifying you at random times until you do and it’ll so indefinitely. Simple solution: respond back
Here’s where I agree with finer grain notification part or simply a way to prevent notifications from happening for said specific task because sometimes a task doesn’t always warrant a response.
But to me this seems to be something baked into Asana in regard to the purpose of the application and that’s just a wild guess that I’ve came up with. I’ve just become so accustomed to these mobile reminders now that I ignore them
