Ability to show task's details when multiple tasks are selected

My scenario is:

  1. In My tasks, list view I select multiple tasks using ctrl - click.
  2. I would like to see the details of some other task to decide if I should select it it or not, so I click the “Details” by that task.
  3. The task details sidebar is opened, but all the selections are gone.

Is there any way to open task details, but keeping the selections? I suggest that clicking “Details” should not deselect other tasks.
