It would great to be able to search or filter tasks based on a custom field value that has been deleted. I know this was requested here to remove and noted as a bug, but it’s extremely valuable. In one case we have, a question on our asana form has the field values that are no longer applicable so we want to clean it up by removing the values. However, we don’t want to loose the data with tasks that previously had selected those values in the form. So if we remove the values from the field (to remove it as an option in the form) we cannot then filter for that values later.
