Currently, when I mention a team or group in a new message, all members receive a notification as expected. However, when I add a comment or reply within the same thread, those users no longer receive any notification unless they are manually added as collaborators.
This creates unnecessary overhead and defeats the purpose of team mentions. In many cases, I want to provide updates, ask follow-up questions, or share additional information within an existing discussion, and the originally mentioned audience is not informed about these updates.
Requested improvement:
- Allow users to re-mention or notify an entire team/group in comments and thread replies.
- Alternatively, provide an option to notify everyone who was included via the original team mention.
- Users should not need to add all recipients as collaborators solely to ensure they receive follow-up notifications.
Benefit: This would significantly improve collaboration and communication efficiency, especially for larger teams and community-style discussions where updates often happen in comment threads rather than in new standalone messages.
